Officers 2016-2017

President:
Ashley Simon

Continuing a trend of strong women in GosCho rising to power, Ashley ascends to the presidency after a year of meritorious service as secretary. A junior studying biology, Ashley hails from Long Island. She is known and loved in GosCho for her confidence, her pizazz, her high notes, and her many fabulous shoes.

Vice President: Michael Kitcher

The force is strong with this one. Michael is serving in his third (!) consecutive term as vice president, and continues to double as our backup pianist (some might say our greatest pianist) in a pinch. A senior studying materials science, he hails from the nation of Ghana.

Secretary:
Lauren Milling

A third year grad student in the biological engineering department, Lauren is originally from the Chicagoland area, and did her undergrad studies at UIUC. We know and love her for her phenomenally fast typing, her remarkably specific facial expressions, and her ability to keep the entire alto section singing on-key.

Treasurer and
Social Chair:
Jordan Santana

As social chair and treasurer, Jordan has fame and fortune; all he now lacks is power. A native of sunny Southern California, Jordan is a senior studying physics. Jordan has rightfully earned his place as social chair by being one of the friendliest and most social people in GosCho.

Devotions Chair and Publicity Co-Chair: Jessica Quaye

A sophomore from Ghana, Jessica is a woman of hidden talents. We stand and wonder at her seemingly limitless vocal range, and also at her quiet spiritual leadership.

Community Service and Alumni Relations Chair:
Bettina Arkhurst

Over the last two years, Bettina has faithfully served as secretary, president, and almost everything else at GosCho. This year, in a peaceful transfer of power, Bettina cedes her office as president, and enters into her rest as community service and alumni relations chair. A senior from New Jersey, she is studying mechanical engineering.

Historian and Publicity Co-Chair: Gwen McKinley

A third year grad student in the math department, Gwen hails from sunny Los Angeles. She maintains this website (it feels funky to be writing in third person here) and makes low-quality recordings of our rehearsals.
